Last Black Friday in 2022, I had a client inquire about a boudoir experience & taking advantage of my annual sale! She’s been a follower of my work since I started & I was so thrilled when she felt ready to start her empowerment journey with me! She got glammed up with my hair & makeup artist, Elle Ortiz & we had a incredible time! Loved the Venus energy she brought to the studio!

Here is what she had to say about her Boudoir Experience.

What made you choose Angela Manning Boudoir?

I’ve been following Angela for a few years now and love all of the work I’ve seen from her. I have wanted to get photos done with her for so long and finally bit the bullet when i saw the Black Friday sale!

What were you nervous about going into your session?

Being vulnerable with Angela. I can be a shy person when it comes to being in lingerie or nude so doing that with also the mix of meeting Angela in person for the first time and being photographed definitely made me a little nervous.

What was your favorite part of your boudoir experience?

Feeling bold and comfortable to do photos with only the white sheet and full nude. I was shocked with myself at how comfortable i felt to do it when Angela offered because that was something i was feeling more reserved about before my session. The space that Angela created during the session felt empowering and nonjudgmental. I’ve never felt that comfortable being in complete nude like that in front of anybody except my wife.

How do you feel now that you have completed your boudoir experience?

Ugh so many good feelings! It’s hard to just boil it down to a few words but I would definitely say it opened my eyes and allowed me to see myself in a different light. I will forever be grateful for this experience!

Elle was great! I loved the chit chat that we had while she was doing my hair and makeup because it definitely helped my nervousness settle. I think she did a beautiful job and I really appreciated how she was kind and understanding when I asked her to tweak a few things.
